Starring Rani Mukerji as a firebrand journalist Meera Gaity and Vidya Balan as Sabrina Lall narrates the cold blooded murder of Jessica Lall and Sabrina’s trials and tribulations on the road to justice. Apparently, ‘No One Killed Jessica’ is a no-nonsense hard-hitting film that lays bare the bitter truth about our society.
Director Rajkumar Gupta makes sure that ‘No One Killed Jessica’ comes across as a gutsy film, which does not end up as a tardy documentary. The film does not once appear preachy or ideological in nature as it shows two women’s fight for justice. Kudos to Vidya and Rani for their power-packed performance. With ‘No One Killed Jessica’, truly raise the bar as seasoned actresses. Watch Rani spewing venom against the dilapidated system and Vidya’s complex Sabrina act.
